Week 6 and 7- vacation weeks

Monday- Dec 22- 10:00am Classic practice at Sleepy Hollow 
                             - Level 1 with speeds 
Tuesday- Dec 23- UPDATED- 10am practice at Sleepy Hollow for CLASSIC intervals
Wednesday- Dec 24- practice on own- ski or run for 45-60 min or do strength inside!

Thursday- Dec 25- ski on own for 60-90 min!
Friday, Dec 26- 10am practice at Sleepy Hollow- bring both skate and classic to practice
                        -- meet at Gazebo, workout will be listed on chalkboard at Sleepy Hollow
Saturday, Dec 27- ski on own for 60-90 min; 
Sunday, Dec 28- race opportunity!! Santa's revenge and resolution relays at Sleepy Hollow

                              see here for details! Be sure to check Sleepy Hollow's website to make sure the 
                                race is still on!
                           - school is open on Friday Dec 26th ONLY until 3pm if you want to wax, no wax

Thursday, Jan 1- ski on own for 60-90 min
Friday, Jan 2-  meet at 10am for classic time trial at Sleepy Hollow, we will assign bibs and kick wax
                         skis at Sleepy
          - mass start approx. 2.5k jv, 5k varsity
Saturday, Jan 3- memorial service at CVU for Kevin Riell 9am-11
Sunday, Jan 4- ski on own for 60-90 min

Week 5: Dec 15-21

Monday- Everyone at Sleepy Hollow for team picture- where red or black for photo
                ALL CLASSIC ski after- those that know how to classic, level 1 remember how to do it ski

                    workout: level 1 with 10 30 sec speeds
                Those new to classic skiing-meet in meadow to learn
Tuesday- Bring both classic and skate skis to Sleepy Hollow
                 Those racing on Wed- either ski on campus and then wax for race, or wax for race during                  free block and go to Sleepy Hollow - distance ski level 1, explore the trails day
                 Rest of team at Sleepy- if you know how to classic - level 1 explore the trails day, if 
                  learning to classic ski- meet in meadow
             
Wednesday- Group that is racing dismissed at 11:45 for Craftsbury
                    - Rest of team at Sleepy Hollow for skate ski- level 1 distance ski- explore the trails, 
                       meet in meadow for games at end
Thursday- Everyone at Sleepy Hollow for Skate Ski
                    Recovery skate ski for racers- explore the trails
                    Speed day for rest  10 by 30 sec
                    games in meadow at end of practice
Friday- Those racing on Saturday- stay at CVU, Classic ski on campus and wax skis for race

          - Not racing Saturday- Choice Day at Sleepy Hollow
             Team dinner????

Week 4: Dec 8- 14

Monday- Everyone skate skiing at Sleepy Hollow; captains arrange rides on white board
              - New skiers on snow making loop continuing to learn to ski
              - Experienced skiers on liberty meadow and upper saddle- use rock skis if you have them, 

                otherwise be alert, check white board at Sleepy Hollow for workout when you arrive
Tuesday- Everyone skate skiing at Sleepy Hollow; captains arrange rides on white board
              - New skiers on snow making loop continuing to learn to ski
              - Experienced skiers on liberty meadow and upper saddle- use rock skis if you have them, 

                 otherwise be alert, check white board at Sleepy Hollow for workout when you arrive
Wednesday- TBD- waiting on details of storm!! Be sure to do your snow dance!!
Thursday- TBD- waiting on details of storm!! Be sure to do your snow dance!!
Friday- whole team waxing at CVU

           - we will either do a 30 min ski or run at CVU between waxing skis
           - wax captains help team members wax for the race (wax info will be posted to skier portal 
              later in the week) 
Saturday- Everyone travel via bus to Craftsbury to either race or train (skate technique) Click here for racing/training groups- want to race and not listed? want to move from jv to varsity? just email Sarah by Tuesday! 


Notes- bring in classic skis to get them ready. Returning skiers wax during free block with CH 7, new skiers who know their kick zone can do the same. New skis with no kick zone marked- wait until Friday. REMINDER- wax only tips and tails (not the kick zone) for classic skiing!
